BRUNSWICK, GA – Opportunity Uplifted proudly announces that it has been awarded first prize for its pitch after completing the Lucas Center's ACCELER8 NP cohort. This recognition underscores the organization’s commitment to breaking the cycle of inequality through culture, education, entrepreneurship, and wellness.
The funding secured through this award has been instrumental in meeting Opportunity Uplifted’s 2024 fundraising goals, allowing the organization to deliver key programming during the first quarter of 2025.
“This achievement would not have been possible without the vision and guidance of Ande Noktes and the dedicated mentors of the ACCELER8 NP program,” said Charmaine Richardson, founder of Opportunity Uplifted. “Their mentorship gave us the tools and confidence to craft a sustainable vision for our work. These funds will fuel critical programs, from maternal health to literacy and entrepreneurial workshops, directly impacting the communities we serve.”
The Lucas Center’s ACCELER8 NP program empowers nonprofits by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and financial resources to build impactful, sustainable organizations. Opportunity Uplifted’s first-place win is a testament to its dedication to meaningful change and its commitment to creating opportunities for those in need.
