Maternal Health & Wellness: Supporting Mothers & Families

Ensuring Health & Well-Being for Every Mother

Maternal health is a cornerstone of strong families and thriving communities. Our initiative is dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and resources to support expecting and new mothers. By addressing disparities in maternal care, we empower women with the knowledge and support they need for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Our programs connect mothers with trusted healthcare professionals, doulas, mental health support, and financial wellness resources, ensuring that they receive holistic, culturally informed care.

Addressing Maternal Health Disparities & Reproductive Justice

Black mothers deserve safe, respectful, and culturally competent maternal care. Yet, the reality is that Black women in the U.S. experience higher rates of maternal mortality, inadequate prenatal care, and systemic medical bias that negatively impacts their health outcomes.

Our maternal health initiative is rooted in reproductive justice, a movement led by Black women to ensure that all mothers—regardless of socioeconomic status—have access to quality healthcare, informed decision-making, and holistic support before, during, and after pregnancy.

We connect Black mothers with trusted Black doulas, midwives, maternal mental health specialists, and financial wellness experts to create a system of community-driven, culturally relevant support.

Black Maternal Health Programs & Resources
